    Hi Acn,
In a message to Cybernix you wrote:

I'm using OpenXP on Linux, mostly because I've used in back in the 90s

I want to like OpenXP, I've installed in half a dozen times because of the feature set. However it seems the author did everything in his power to
make it complicated and hard to use.

when I only was a point. But it really is the best message reader that
I know, eg. the thread view is very useful to keep track of larger threads.

This old program does that too! It has buttons for father / son etc.
Sempoint (which I use) should have had a better name, I think if people
had known it works as a sysop reader etc it may have gotten more love.

    Hi Ragnarok,
In a message to Cybernix you wrote:

My idea is to have a point node off my main node on fidonet and
fsxnet and was just interested in what others use to read & poll
    FTN-style netmail/echomail on Windows & Linux.

I use BinkD / HPT to toss fidonet and micronet as a point, and Sempoint
which is a windows 3.1 app for QWK/Bluewave as it imports the packets
    to my squish areas.

From here I can use Sempoint, golded, msged, or Timed either through
    dosbox-x, or native (golded).

Lot's of options for a point or MO node node.
