God gives his first order to man.
Gen 2:16 (KJV) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of
the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Gen 2:17 (KJV) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely
die.
If you were to hear an order from God, would you cling to it or ignore it? Abide in it would be that you are obidient to God. Disregarding it, is the complete opposite. We have choices to make in life and not all choices are easy to make. Choosing the wrong choice may seem right for a moment, but eventually the deed will fade away leaving you empty.
God knew that man was alone and wanted to make a mate for him. What would
have been life like for one man to rule the entire world with nobody else in
it to share with?
Gen 2:18 (KJV) And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Gen 2:19 (KJV) And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was
the name thereof.
Gen 2:20 (KJV) And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the
air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an
help meet for him.
Yet, this would not be enough for man. He has animales and birds in the air and fish in the sea, but who to share it with?
Gen 2:21 (KJV) And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and
he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead
thereof;
Gen 2:22 (KJV) And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
Now there is a man to rule the world and a woman to be his helper. But, how would he use his power? Would he be obidient to God, or be deceived?
Gen 2:23 (KJV) And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Gen 2:24 (KJV) Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and
shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Gen 2:25 (KJV) And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
I certainly would not be ashamed to naked if only I knew of the tree of
life.
Yet, there was another tree, the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Is it wise to learn of evil ways? When we hear something we can open our ear
gate. When we see we open our eye gate. Yet, lets vice our tongue and only let good of it to come out.
Pro 21:23 (KJV) Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
Be soft and slow to speak.
Pro 15:1 (KJV) A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
It's how we deal with people that can better their lives and keep our souls
at peace with the Lord.
Pro 18:21 (KJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
The fruit can be either for good or bad. I encourage to have a loving
heart. I encourage you to keep peace with others; everyone you encounter.
You may not know the rewards to come or what opportunities you may miss.
Also, be cautious.
2Ti 3:16 (KJV) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 (KJV) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto
all good works.
May peace rest with you.
