What do you think of rebellion? Going against something that a higher authority or power, particularly God. When I think of higher power that's
who I think of. I hear often times I guess because to make a larger
majority of people happy, people say things like higher power or Happy
Holidays instead of God or Merry Christmas. God gave us Jesus Christ for
our misbehavior, past, present and future. That's what I think about rebellion; being disobedient to the Lord Jesus and to God.
Let's face it, nobody is perfect and there is sin in the world every
corner we turn. We need to focus on stay on the straight and narrow to
reach God.
Think of it like this, are you going straight up a ladder or you going to
tip over to the left or right just to please yourself or someone else, or
are you going to climb straight up to the top?
We all have a path to follow, many won't find it as it's written in
scripture. It is my hope that we find this road, don't look back, don't
look side to side, look and follow the straight and narrow path the God
put before us.
Let the lamp for your feet be the path that God gives us. It's not always easy; in fact, easier said than done. Sometimes we want to just fit in so
we do things to make others happy. Do we want to make others happy, or do
we genuinely want to please God? Fear of the Lord is the first approach to wisdom.
To be wise is to fear God as you would your mother and father out of respect and to do as they say. Not because it's the right thing to do, but because it's the best thing to do. We want to please God in everything we do, not because we're told to, but because we want to.
It's my hope and prayer that God finds more people to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to come to him with a humble heart, a heart that represents pureness, a tender heart that is light and not full of darkness.
It's said in scripture that if our eyes are darkened, how can light flow through a darkened eye. Our eyes are part of the gates to our soul. We
must use the light we have left to do what is good and pleasing for Him.
God is a god of mercy and loves us very much. He wants the best for us,
but if our younger generations here and ahead turn from him and rebel
against God in particular anti-God churches and anti-God attitudes, how is
the next generations be? What future will our world be?
Give it thought my brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ that we
refuse to rebel and don't disobey God. He's a sovern God, HE gave Christ
the keys to our destination. I don't write in riddles but to tell you that today, if of any days, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your only Savior, how rebellious would that be? God made a family. We have brothers
and sisters in the Jesus Christ, we need to come together and somehow plant
a seed to others that Jesus Christ is real, God is real, the Holy Spirit is from God and Jesus came to flesh from the Word God spoke, he became flesh
to set an example of how we should live.
Rebellion is all around us as Christians are being persecuted for their beliefs. It's right and just to believe in Jesus Christ. He's the King
of kings, Lord of lords. Keep in mind as you live your lives day by day to keep the Lord in your heart. If you slip up, remember to make it right with God to ask for forgiveness. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give and it will be returned to you.
If you're told not to do something, take in perspective what it is that's
being spoken not to do. Remember, that God is everywhere, He's all around
us and with us. He promised that He will never leave or forsake us. We
love God because God first loved us. If God loves us that much that He sent His son to save souls, why would we want to rebel?
