Greetings fellow brothers and sisters of our Lord Jesus. I wish to do something different this discuss each thought on every verse this go around
as I'm encouraged to write about three basic things that leads us to our Saviour. That is Faith, Hope and Love.
First and foremost, we must have Faith. When you think of Faith what does
that tell you? I'd like to read comments about this topic. To me, Faith
means a firm belief. A belief of that our Lord Jesus is Lord of Lords,
King of Games. Born in a manger, lived life on the Earth for around 30
years and was cruisified on the cross because the world turned their back
on Him. He was spit on, stripped naked, whipped, beaten, bruised, bled
and the list goes on. Jesus did nothing to deserve that, but as we know,
it happened anyway to fulfill the promises in our Holy Bible. After He
was crusified, on the third day, He rose to prove that He defeated death
and that he holds the keys to our eternity. My faith is simply believing
in Him, that what He wrote in the scriptures in the New Testiment or
know as the good news, or gospels is true for us that our saved by His
blood on the cross. None of us are perfect and we've all fallen short of something in our life, through the law from Moses was the first law and
after the cross, two basic keys to obeying the new law is to love the Lord
as your Savior (to carry your cross) and love your neighbor as you love yourself. Think of it like this, if you love, you won't be as tempted
to break the commendments as written by Moses...and for Hope, we hope for things not seen such as grace and mercy from the one true God that sits
on his Throne in Heaven and Jesus at His right hand. Love is a free gift
as God is love. Anyone can receive the love if we ask for it in an
unselfish manner. For we've all sinned, and some of us would want to
be perfect like Jesus, it says in scripture that with God, anything is possible. Without Faith we cannot please God. Us, children of God
wish to please God as we wish to please our parents. So it's very
important to show love (charity) in any form and fashion as you can.
What can we do to please God you may wonder... you say have Faith...
Believe in Him, do not worry and be strong in Him! If God is for us
then who can be against us! Lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil...as you may have read if you've read at anytime the Bible
or perhaps not. My request is for you to first seek His kingdom and
all the desires of your heart will come into place. Praise His
glorious name, rejoice in all He has done. It's not what we do, but
what He has already done for us. When we 'come to the cross' we
may see Jesus or we may just see a cross. My hope is that you have
an idea of who Jesus is and what His story is. Simply put, He came
to the Earth to save us because God first loved us! God knows all
and everything. He's with us in our Spirit. When Jesus left the
tomb after He died, he said He would send the Holy Spirit to walk with
us. Remember, it's important to repent. You may wonder what is
repent? It means to turn from things that are not right in your
life and fight the good fight of Faith! Believe in Him, do what is
right, continue to read your Bible and be gloriously filled with
the Holy Spirit.
So how did you enjoy this alternative method of today's service? I
hope you find it enlightened and if you're not saved or unsure, just
pray to God. I was raised to put your hands together, close your eyes,
bow your head and talk to God. Admit you need Him, that you've done
wrong in your lift and you NEED Him to get your through lifes daily
struggles. To help you wake you up every morning and the first thoguhts
are to tell Him Hi and acknowledge Him in everything you do and
constantly be in Prayer with Him and not ask for much. He will show you
much more of good things there are than you've ever thought of and will
show His mercy.
Have Faith...believe...have Hope...wish for things that aren't seen
and most of walk in Love. Believe their is God around each and every
one of us and to love Him above anything else and to love our
neighbors as we love ourselves. It's important to love yourself too!
If you can love yourself, it's a lot easier to love others. Remember
to pray as we close this meeting. Until next time my brothers and
sisters in our Lord Savior and Christ Jesus!
Here's some scriptures to meditate on.
Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV)
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen.
Luke 24:6-7
Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son
of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on
the third day be raised again.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 Pray without ceasing.
Romans 3:23-26 King James Version (KJV)
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in
Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,
to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be
just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 New Living Translation (NLT)
55 O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?[a]”
56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin
its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death
through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
1 John 4:7-10 King James Version (KJV)
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one
that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God
sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and
sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth\
me.
Have a great day! Glory to His Holy Name Jesus!
