Welcome back to our e-Ministries. Appreciate all the time you've spent to learn about our Lord Jesus and how much God has done for you.

Gen 12:1 (KJV) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy
country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that
    I will shew thee:

Gen 12:2 (KJV) And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless
thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Gen 12:3 (KJV) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Spoken from HIM himself. Abram also known as Abraham was promised a
greatly blessed land, to multiply. God does to those that do until you so
it is wise to do what is right and just in His eyes because He is always
with you. Remember and keep in mind of HIS presence.

2Co 5:7 (KJV) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

2Co 5:8 (KJV) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from
the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Gen 12:9 (KJV) And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

Now Abram went to Egypt to find his wife Sarai (also known as Sarah).

Gen 12:10 (KJV) And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.

Gen 12:11 (KJV) And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into
Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art
a fair woman to look upon:

Gen 12:12 (KJV) Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall
see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.

There was something special about Sarai that Abram found in favor from God.
She was in need to be rescued and saved by her love, Abram. To protect her, she had to be known as Abram's sister.

Gen 12:13 (KJV) Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well
with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

Gen 12:14 (KJV) And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt,
the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.

Gen 12:15 (KJV) The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her
before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.

Gen 12:16 (KJV) And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep,
and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses,
    and camels.

Gen 12:17 (KJV) And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great
plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.

When you're blessed by God, you know it when you see those that curse you
and the things they do to you are done unto them. Let God do His work and
have faith that all will work as long as you do righteous.

The moment you accepted Jesus your life and gave Him ownership of your
heart, your heart because so pure that HIS Spirit enterered your heart. You can't be shaken even when you have Faith and not be fearful.

Gen 12:18 (KJV) And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou
hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?

Gen 12:19 (KJV) Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her
to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.

Gen 12:20 (KJV) And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent
him away, and his wife, and all that he had.

    May peace rest with you.
