So we have Adam and Eve and their offspring. You know these days life span wasn't as long as it was back in the beginning. According to scripture,
Adam lived nine hundred and thirty years. Can you imagine how long that is
for a single person. Right now, the longest expectancy for a person to live
is about one hundred and twenty years of age. That's only a small fraction compared back in the day.
Gen 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
Gen 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Gen 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his
own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
Gen 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty
years: and he died.
God had promised that sin would cause death, He didn't lie about that when
he told Adam and Even ate of the forbidden tree that we've covered. He
didn't say how long it would be.
We've wondered why do little ones that barely enter this world die so soon. It's so sad their tragedy. Remember, God's Word is true. We all have a purpose here and God loved you from before you were conceived. He knows everything about you. Try your best to keep your heart pure. Nobody is perfect, that is why God sent down his only begotten Son, Jesus to pay the penalty for sin. To me, sin is disobedience. God is a forgiving and
a merciful God. We're all His children and He wants the best for us. When
we turn from sin, we draw closer to Him. Repentance isn't just saying
you're sorry. It means quit doing the things you're doing and Trust Jesus
and don't fall into temptation. God will never tempt you beyond your own
will. There's always an escape route. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's hard.
Don't worry, don't be afraid. God is with you and He will never leave you.
It is us that leave Him thinking we can handle everything on our own until
we come to Him and realize we can't do this all on our own. Humble and
submit yourself to Him. He'll wake you up out of your fleshly being and
give your a spiritual being.
Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair;
and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
Take this in as we will continue next time. God loves you. God is love. You'll never find a greater love than from anyone other than Him. Put your heart, mind and soul into it. Pray continually as much as you can. Read
His word. That's communication with our Creator.
May peace rest with you.

... Isn’t it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"?
