Hello all,

Recently stumbled across the "GoldMine" door server and I like some of
the games/functions it has to offer, so I've added it to my BBS. The
one thing I'm having trouble with is the exact command line to use when connecting from a Synchronet BBS. The server wants a [TAG] (which
identifies your specific BBS) in front of the username that is passed on
the command line, and I can't seem to get that to work. I can still
connect to the server just fine, and it all works well, just doesn't
have the requested "BBS ID" [TAG] displayed.

Any SBBS operator using this door server? Could you share the command
line you are using? Thanks.

I tried setting it up, I assume you're using something like -c XXX%a to pass a 3 letter tag plus the user alias. When I connect it just displays my full name.

Maybe -c isn't working as advertized.

Oh, you have to use -s which doesn't make sense to me but there ya go.

?rlogin goldminedoors.com:2513 -s ETL%a

This passes ETLnelgin to the door server.
