From StingRay@1:103/705 to all on Tue Oct 1 15:30:02 2024
    Good afternoon,

Is there already a command/.js/etc. to run at logoff to display random 5-10 BBSs from the BBS list?

Like what is seen on Vert at logoff. Always want to promote other BBSs.

I searched and did not find anything before writing this.

    Thanks in advance!

Do you not have /sbbs/exec/sbbslist-logoff.js ?

Is there a way to add a pause?

Mine logs off before the info is displayed via terminal. I see it coming through on the SBBS Terminal server view after the connection is lost on logoff.

You could maybe add a sleep(5000); afterwards maybe to mdddd

Sorry, I hit send rather than abort, I was going to start again :)

    How are you calling it?

    Fixed Event - logout event - ?sbbslist-logoff

Would be nice if that was in the script or documented somewhere, at least.

    Fixed Event - logout event - ?sbbslist-logoff

Does that actually work? I don't think it should since the fixed logout event runs after carrier is dropped.

How I do it is with @exec:sbbslist-logoff@ ("EXEC" in all caps) added to my text/menu/logoff.msg file.

You could also do it with an external program configured to run as a log-off event in SCFG->External Programs->Online Programs.

    Awesome! That seems way easier,
No, it did not work as you said, log off initiated first.

Thank you for the help and info!
