• RP2350 / Pico 2 latchup woes

From Theo@3:770/3 to All on Sat Sep 7 10:45:09 2024
Seems like the GPIO pullups on the RP2350 are having issues with latchups: https://hackaday.com/2024/09/04/the-worsening-raspberry-pi-rp2350-e9-erratum-situation/
    https://www.hackster.io/news/problems-with-the-raspberry-pi-pico-2-raspberry-pi-rp2350-deepen-as-projects-hit-by-erratum-e9-e2ed0c2f0810

Erratum E9 in the datasheet is worth reading if you are using the GPIOs -
RPi have just updated it with more info.

If they're going to revise the stepping to fix the issues they might as
well add floating point to the Hazard3 cores.

Adding FP to the cores is a lot bigger change than just dropping in a
version of the 3rd party pinpad which works to spec. Anyway if you want
FP use the vastly more capable ARM cores, the RISC V ones are just toys.
