The USA has always been "the envy of the world."

    Who told you that?

It sure as hell was nobody from abroad. The world looked in horror as you elected a con artist known for bankrupting not one but two casinos and more enterprises -- just because he was famous from TV!

And now you've even done it again. You *do* know what they say about repeating a mistake and expecting a different outcome?

Now, the world is preparing for another outbreak of COVID when anti-vaxxers take over and make the USA a super-spreader again.

I'm not buying your sad story for several reasons.
    Don't think others should either.
Your just a political agitator, who suffers from TDS.

I will break down my disagreement in Two Parts
    1. World Horror? - Hardly
    2. Bankruptcy Attempting to attach shame.

Your description of the world reacted in horror is empty and incomplete.
Are you referring to World Leaders because from I can see it was congratulatory.

    From 11/06/2024

    1. World Horror? - Hardly

France's centrist President Emmanuel Macron offered congratulations, respect and ambition.

Social democratic German Chancellor Olaf Scholz congratulated Trump and said he wanted continued close ties, even if surely many things will be different under a Donald Trump-led administration.
The German Chancellor went on to say that Germany will remain a reliable transatlantic partner.

Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson said
I have full respect for the fact that the United States thinks that Russia is very much an issue for Europe, Europe's security which we cannot abstain from and hope that the US for Europe, to put squarely.
more can be found at: https://tinyurl.com/2uuhtpkb

Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni, whose far
right-led government is in some ways close to Trump politically, said Italy and the U.S. had a strategic bond, which I am sure we will now strengthen even more.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stressed that the EU and the U.S. are bound by a true partnership between our people, uniting 800 million citizens. Let us work together on a transatlantic partnership that
continues to deliver for our citizens.

They threatened him with prison, they took his property, they wanted to kill him and he still won, said Hungary's nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who will hold a summit in Budapest for some 50 European leaders on Thursday.

    2. Bankruptcy Attempting to attach shame.

Donald Trump has no personal bankruptcies however several of his hotel, resort, and casino businesses have been reorganized under Chapter 11 of the bankruptcy laws. This is similar to a Chapter 13 bankruptcy that is typically used by an individual.

    https://www.actionadvocacy.com/famous-president-bankruptcies/
Past Presidents who have had bankruptcies include
Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, William Henry Harrison, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, William Mckinley and Harry S. Truman
Famous CEOS have also declared it also Walt Disney and Milton Hershey did they simply give up and fold? Of course not they came back were ultimately successful, just like Donald John Trump. Get Over yourself.

And now you've even done it again. You *do* know what they say about repeating a mistake and expecting a different outcome?
America has had Trump before and it was prosperous Nation
(until covid happened) The state of the Union was strong to spite the stupid impeachments of which he was acquitted from in both.
Biden has been weak on several fronts International Stage and here at home.
We were all told that he was strong and vital and hard to keep up with it was all a mirage and the world knows this as the collective truth.
Just as they can be assured that the Next four years will mean prosperity for the United States and it's citizens. or simply put MAGA.

... I always said you was Yellow.

Oh funny you should say that! It was in fact somebody from abroad!

And not just somebody, but lots of people from abroad. And nobody has any sane reason to be "in horror" over Trump!

The majority of America loves Trump! Don't be part of the minority!

And now you've even done it again. You *do* know what they say about repeating a mistake and expecting a different outcome?

I was "insane" when I thought my country was full of dumb people! I love my fellow Americans and I love what they did for me!

Now, the world is preparing for another outbreak of COVID when anti-vaxxers take over and make the USA a super-spreader again.

Well, you do have a point. The world elite are 100% more likely to unleash a deadly covid strain while Trump is president vs while a Soros Puppet is president.

Well at any rate it appears that was indicated within my previous lengthy message was filtered down to a short reply from you that is basically implies.. Just wait.

What is about to happen within Trumps 2nd term has far more to do than just tariffs. Besides you are speaking of a dogmatic and fearful approach to tariffs.

All that was wrong within Biden Administration will be eliminated within the Trump Administration.

Oh and by the way: when the Trump Administration announces that the Southern Border is now secure, Americans as well as people from around the World can believe it w/ assured confidence. Trump means what he says.

There will be Peace through Strength, not weakness as seen within the previous Biden administration; to draw a line in the sand and have it crossed, there was never any consequence taken by the U.S. This is how I define weakness.

What does purchasing foreign made goods do for the United States and her citizens? What is the benefit? Cheaply and poorly made products that don't last and then arrive in landfills... There is a better way forward.

Domestic Job Creation: This protects American industries from being undercut by cheaper foreign labor, directly supporting American jobs. For example, industries like steel saw a resurgence during Trump's administration due to tariffs.

Higher Quality Goods: I would like to point out that American-made products often adhere to stricter quality standards compared to foreign goods, which can be cheaply and poorly made. Investing in domestic goods means longer-lasting products, reducing waste and saving money over time.

Ethical Responsibility: I would like to bring attention to the unethical labor practices, such as child labor, often used in countries that produce cheap goods. By imposing tariffs, the U.S. discourages importing products made under exploitative conditions, promoting global fairness.

National Security: Such as seen within the steel industry and energy ensures the U.S. isn't reliant on foreign nations for critical resources, which could be a vulnerability during global conflicts.

Economic Independence: Tariffs encourage companies to invest in local manufacturing, reducing reliance on global supply chains and safeguarding the economy against foreign market disruptions.

The above Five points very much outweigh the negative pessimistic views of
    1. Increased costs to consumers.
    2. Trade Wars
    3. Economic Disruption

Places like Wal*Mart and Target and other brick and mortar (Chinese-R-us's) will be forced to re-organize to stay profitable.

... Still waitng for that Coffee :)

My wife is from Panama. She says that the USA is "the envy of the world." Other people from her country have said the same thing. Panama is one of the most successful countries in Central America, but their people know that the healthcare there sucks compared to the USA.

There is no country that has more to offer than the USA.

We've got an American nationalist as president-elect. It's awesome. That's about all you need to have a great country. But the healthcare, the jobs, and the education are all pretty good too.

The majority of Americans have spoken: they said they want Trump, a republican congress, and a republican senate. Women and their bodies is a slogan that ignorant people cling to. 4 years from now you will be stunned when I say "Look Bjorn, there's no abortion ban, not even after 4 years of Trump!"

Socialism is an economic system that gets forced on people by government dictators. Nobody asks for it; they get stuck with it. Some people make the best of it by pretending that it's great.

My oh my! There are abt. 500M citizens in Europe alone, and you think that all of us are living in dictatorships?

Plus, of course, a million or more living in former UK colonies like, e.g. your northern neighbour.

Only one not-very democratic country will actually be living a dictatorship after January 20, 2025, but it'll probably take more than a year before Bidenomics wears off, so you still have some time to plan for your future.

I'm a New York state resident and I still have the right to enter the country illegally, get a free sex change, get pregnant, have an abortion, and even have the taxpayers change my sex back to what it originally was. And Trump can't stand in my way of any of that.
