When I'm doing ANSI art, I usually use Moebius. It has become my favorite, though sometimes I fall back to PabloDraw for some things.
i dont like how it adds sauce into everything. i'm not sure if there's a way to toggle it off.
i still try out the new versions, but there's an old version that i prefer.
Yeah there's a save without sauce info save as. I'm not sure why it defaults to save with it, I'm assuming that's something to do with the ANSI art community vs displaying on something like a BBS. Everytime I forget it's a pain and shows up.
